About the Artist 

Evie Barron is a british-born multicultural artist and blacksmith who focuses on creating intricate and functional metal art. Barron spent most of her childhood in the English countryside before moving to America in 2015 to study Art in Las Vegas. Her experience moving across the world has helped shape her view on community and identity as a biracial woman. Inspired by her personal and cultural histories, her work is imbued with an archival quality. Barron has a BFA in fine arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Recently she has been included in multiple group shows, including the 2022 Junior Project showcase, as well as DIRECTIONS at Between Two Galleries. She enjoys cooking, welding, and bad horror movies.
